Facebook ad measurement

Manage your ad measurement preference

Facebook ad measurement is enabled by default under this privacy policy. BreedTracker shares confirmed account sign-up and subscription events with Meta from our servers to measure our ads. Matching information can include a hashed version of the account owner's email address, available Facebook ad-click or browser identifiers, and browser information. Hashing transforms the email before sending; Meta can still use it to match an account. We do not share kennel records or buyer information and do not install a Meta browser pixel.

This measurement is separate from Facebook sign-in, PostHog, and Google Analytics. It is recorded as enabled under this privacy notice, not as an affirmative consent choice. Existing opt-outs and Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signals take precedence. Public campaign labels and an available Google Analytics client identifier support separate acquisition and product analytics. Private Facebook matching identifiers are excluded from those analytics.

You can opt out or change your preference on the app privacy page linked below. The marketing site does not display a preference banner. The browser choice lasts up to 90 days and browser matching identifiers are used for up to 30 days. Private account matching data may be retained for up to 90 days, and matching data for an individual conversion for up to 7 days. An authenticated account owner's preference is also saved to their account; an opt-out stays in force until they change it. Declining clears matching data and stops pending or future Meta conversions; it cannot recall information already sent. A later allowance does not send conversions previously suppressed. If browser storage is blocked or the account save fails, the controls explain the limitation and let you retry. Changing the preference does not affect sign-up or access to BreedTracker.

7. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
